Primer
The choice of primer depends on the condition of the substrate where the microcement floor will be applied and on the nature of the room (wet or dry zone).
CONTACTO Primer
A rich acrylic primer with quartz filler that increases the adhesion of subsequent mortar layers.
Used for building up structure and equalizing absorbency across uneven surfaces.
Reduces substrate absorption.
BAUPOX 100 ST Epoxy Primer
A rich acrylic primer with quartz filler that increases the adhesion of subsequent mortar layers.
Used for building up structure and equalizing absorbency across uneven surfaces.
Reduces substrate absorption.
⚠️ NOTE: For highly absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to first use BAUGRUNT, followed by CONTACTO.
Paint-like consistency.
Quartz Sand / Aggregate
When priming with BAUPOX 100 ST, apply a quartz sand broadcast (grain size 0.1-0.2 mm or 0.1-0.5 mm).

Surface Protection - Varnish
The choice of lacquer should match the intended use, expected wear level (e.g. private home vs. high-traffic commercial area), and the environment (dry or wet zone).
BAUPUR 700 HP Polyurethane Varnish
Two-component, water-based, transparent polyurethane varnish with high protective properties.
Used as a topcoat.
Available in satin or matt finish.
BAUPUR 800 HP Polyurethane Varnish
Two-component, solvent-based polyurethane varnish.
Designed to protect surfaces exposed to intensive use.
Matt finish.
