1
Primer
The choice of primer should depend on the condition and characteristics of the surface onto which the microcement floor will be applied.
CONTACTO Acrylic Primer with Quartz Filler
Rich bonding primer with quartz filler that increases the adhesion of subsequent layers.
Used to build up structure and equalize absorbency of non-uniform surfaces.
Reduces substrate absorbency.
Note: For highly absorbent substrates, it is recommended to first apply BAUGRUNT and then CONTACTO. Ready to use, paint-like consistency.
BAUPOX 100 ST Epoxy Primer Resin
Primes and reinforces concrete substrates by partially penetrating their structure and creating a bonding surface layer.
Also used as a repair compound.
Solvent-free.
Clear.
Effective.
Note: For weak, highly absorbent, or dusty substrates, we recommend saturating the surface beforehand with deeply penetrating, high-strength BAUPOX 100 GP epoxy resin.
Quartz Aggregate
When priming with BAUPOX 100 ST resin, apply a quartz sand broadcast (grain size 0.1-0.2 mm or 0.1-0.5 mm).
At BAUTECH, you can buy high-quality quartz sand from a verified source: cleaned, dry, hard quartz with a defined sieve curve.
2
Main Layer
CREATIVO PRO Ceramic Microcement
Microcement with enhanced durability and a refined, authentic raw concrete effect, developed for elegant spaces with high performance demands and heavy foot traffic.
Discover the range of functional BAUTECH additives that strengthen or activate specific features and parameters of the CREATIVO PRO microcement system.
These components — used individually or together — allow flexible formulation of microcement depending on project requirements, application conditions, and contractor expectations.
You can choose to use them or not. The choice is yours.
3
Primer under Varnish
BAUPUR 600 HP Primer
Single-component clear polyurethane primer with enhanced hydrophobic properties for mineral substrates.
4
Protective Varnish
Depending on the expected level of floor use (private facility vs. commercial space with heavy traffic) and the nature of the space (dry/wet zone), we recommend using one of the following varnishes:
BAUPUR 700 HP Varnish
Two-component clear polyurethane varnish with high protective properties for use as a finishing layer.
Available in satin/matte finishes.
BAUPUR 800 HP Ceramic Polyurethane Varnish
Two-component solvent-based polyurethane varnish enriched with ceramic additives.
Intended for protecting surfaces exposed to intensive use.
Satin finish.
